Our guest bedrooms have been finished to the highest standards in luxury hotel accommodation, boasting all the modern amenities of a quality hotel but in a stunning 17th Century authentic Irish Castle. Each room in Markree Castle has been designed to take advantage of the wonderful and unique layout of the castle. The most popular bedroom for our guests is undoubtedly the castle’s Maude Gonne Suite, which is much more than just a suite. This is a three-room apartment located in the oldest part of the castle, down flag-stoned corridors, with a cosy open fire and in-room bar to make your stay at Markree Castle even more magical.

Wander through the castle, enjoying the blazing fire in the Grand Hall, period features and furnishings, and the breath-taking inter-linked dining rooms creating that authentic, old-world charm to instantly transport you back in time. We had the most incredible wedding day at Markree Castle, it is a beautiful venue and we couldn't recommend it more. The food is amazing and there are so many options to chose from it really caters to all tastes.
