Set on the banks of the glistening River Glyde, Bellingham Castle is an opulent, exclusive-hire castle wedding venue, where you and your guests can enjoy a magical day in complete privacy. The castle is the centre piece of a 17-acre estate that includes a weir and man-made river island. The spacious 17th Century Irish castle is bursting with rich history, splendour and old-world luxury.

Our elegant period drawing rooms are perfect for an arrival reception, while guests can enjoy tête-à-têtes in our library or catch up in our relaxing bars before dining in the grand ‘Bute Suite’. Outside, mature gardens and the stunning riverside setting with footbridges, provide the perfect backdrop for an intimate wedding and breath-taking photographs.

We cannot recommend Bellingham highly enough. The staff were beyond helpful and friendly always. We received responses in great time and nothing was too much hassle. Our guests raved about the food and the service with compliments passed to the chef. The place is absolutely stunning and we felt like royalty for the day! Our wedding day was more incredible than we could have imagined and a large part of that was because of Ciara, Matthew and all the incredible staff at Bellingham.
